This is what I use...
It is kind of pricey, but I keep it around for parking brake linkage, and drum brake backing plates on cars & trucks...
It is synthetic, contains moly, PTFE, and graphite, its also waterproof. The main reason i like it is it doesnt seem to dry out, and has a very broad working temp. range (-40 deg. through 500 deg.) There are a ton of other products you could use, i have no idea what ducati originally used it seems like they used "motor oil" for everything if you go by the book. I would think any quality lightweight grease would do the job though.
