WTB parts for 250 wc scrambler

Hi folks,
I am looking to buy a chain guard and a header with muffler for my scrambler. It is a crusty old beast but I like it. The parts need to have a similar patina to the bike. The existing muffler is welded to the head pipe and rotted out. Both pieces need to be replaced, with correct stock parts. Please send pictures of the parts you offer. Shipping will be to Los Angeles, CA, 90004. And yes, it is actually a Mototrans.

Hi Gary,

Mototrans, eh? Welcome to the dark side :D I replaced the header pipe on mine with one a repro pipe from motoGuzzino.

Paul at MotoGuzzino is a great guy. I don't want to put any new bits on this as it is not going to be restored. Just intending to clean it up and flog it for what it is, a fine motorcycle.

I have bought Mototrans parts from Krupp13. He has some listings for other parts on this forum. You could try him for the chainguard. The muffler will be tough. I have yet to see an original one for sale.
