Normally open, momentarily closed (pull the plunger out and the switch closes) brake light switch.

Hi Jim,
For desperate times you can buy cheap brand off the rack brake switches at most trail bike shops.
Cheap and they work for a while,
May get you out of trouble?

Jim, If you are ok with not having the original aprilia switch this is a good alternative, these are sold on ebay by steve purshock, i have bought a bunch of parts from him in the past including 2 of these... I might even have a used one from a benelli you could have but i would have to check.
