transmission layout

Postby Rick » Wed Feb 01, 2012 4:38 pm

I bought some basket case engines, with parts thrown into shoe boxes more or less at random. Trying to sort stuff out wasn't made any easier by the parts book diagram being drawn backwards- to my mind anyway. So, in case anyone else runs into the same problem, I flipped the drawing around and labelled the gears- I'll add washers, spacers, etc, later, and it appears there are 4 speed parts also, so I may flip that drawing.

Nice, Rick.
It's good to see original new or enhanced artwork.

Rick,
Nice work. I would like to see the 4-speed gear drawing also, if you are doing that.

ALso - If you are willing, it might make sense to put these drawings on the technical docs page to make it easier to find them.
