rearsets - anyone used these?

Looking for a set of rearsets for my cafe project. The desmo style are so expensive.

I'd like to have a set, but I'm probably going to find a set at a swap meet or on ebay, cause those are just too dear for me.

and the first set that's knocking on the $700 door, doesn't even provide all the hardware!! I wonder how well the kick start would clear these with the pegs folded up.

Agree. $700 is out of the question - too many other parts I need that it would cut into.

$320 is more likely. May have to just get them and try. I need the rearsets and a few other parts to finish up my frame mock-up. Then I can paint the frame and start putting parts on it.

Another option is from Motocicli Veloci and the price is right for the Ducati singles rear sets (art.6021 C) :

I am familiar with their site. Lots of tasty bits there.

Unfortunately, their singles set up does not have a folding peg / brake pedal to clear the kick start.

So based on the prices on their site, I figure a setup could be had for about $200 plus shipping - if I reversed my existing gear change lever instead of using a linkage. The only thing I am not so keen on is the way they attach - using a bolt thru a fixing point to the peg. The desmo style, or the ones listed above in my first post, are threaded to use the passenger peg mounts.

More research is needed.

i sell you anything you need and any amount . folding , non folding , a combo whatever you need
shipping 2 footrests cost the same as shipping 6 footrests

I had these or something just like the Guzzino offerings on my 450. They were OK, but nothing special. I don't get why they sell for so much money and without any linkages either. Could they be a fairly accurate reproduction of rear sets provided by Ducat, perhaps for the Silver Shotgun? That's the only reason I can think of as to why they would command a high price.

I'd wager the other rearsets mentioned in this topic are better units for less money.
