Anybody know where I can get this? I specifically want the spokes info.

Has anyone ever seen a parts list for the 4 shoe brake as fitted to Ducati singles? Maybe there's one for the "silver shotgun" desmo? Supplement?

Hi Jordan,

I have a photocopy of what claims to be the parts supplement for the 450 Mark 3 (1974). This shows the 4 shoe brake altho', to be honest, comparing it with the illustration in the Catalogo Ricambi 1968-73 for the 2 shoe, it looks exactly the same - except for the addition of another shoe!

Look, it's too late for me to scan it now - the scanner makes too much noise and will wake everyone up! But I'll do it in the morning and post it. Remind me if I forget ...

Ciao

Hi Jordan,

Here's the front wheel page.

If you'd like a copy of the whole thing, let me know and I'll scan and pdf it. It's a curious thing - professionally drawn illustrations, but the parts descriptions are laboriously written out in long-hand.

But it's the best (that is to say: the only :) ) that I've seen. Have also got one for the 450 Desmo, if anyone's interested ...

Thanks Craig. I've never seen that drawing before, and appreciate the trouble you took to scan.
However, it's of the 2 shoe brake, not 4 shoe.
I'm interested to have any Ducati documentation including parts lists, that I don't already have. So, if you are willing, I will happily receive the whole supplement.

Rats! Sorry - you're right, of course Jordan. (In my defence, I only glanced at it, saw the additional shoe and assumed it was for the 4 shoe brake ...)

Hmmm... Interesting and irritating at the same time :?

I've uploaded a pdf of the 450 Desmo list here:
http://www.filejumbo.com/Download/68C498583C33C62D

The quality is not great 'cos the photocopy original isn't brilliant. But it does show a front brake - disc, not drum, unfortunately :D

Will try and do the Mark 3 one of the next few days. However, the sun is forecast to come out here over the week-end, so don't hold your breath ... 8-)
