Wondering if anyone has had any success buying front fork inners in the UK. I've seen Ducativintage sell them but they're currently out of stock and I'd prefer to buy from UK if possible.
RT part book quotes 35 dia x 600 long. Ducativintage quote them as for RT and 2nd gen scrambler but I've not seen anything to confirm the 2nd gen scrambler uses same length stanchions.

Hi Paul
the RT uses 60 cm stancions for sure . the type 2 Scrambler fit but they might have the wrong thread for the top caps
early Marzocchi 35 mm forks had M30 X 1 thread later type M30 X 1.5 mm

Thanks Eldert,
I'd not thought of a change in thread pitch, so that would certainly have caught me out.
It looks like TNK do fork legs for the RT so just need to talk to a TNK dealer in UK when they're open to see if they can get hold of them.

Hi Paul,
If you struggle to get the correct RT legs and you need different caps, I think I may have some somewhere.
Regards Nigel

Do you have the original stanchions? If so, at the risk of teaching grandma to suck eggs, you could have them hard chromed. Usually works out more economical than new and maintains originality.
