After a gearlever for a scrambler or RT in good condition.
Maybe fitted to other models as well (but not the heal/toe type).

Re: Wanted Gear lever for scrambler
Strangely, considering how many Ducati Singles have been converted to rear-sets, gear levers are hard to find. There must be lots sitting in garage drawers all over the place which never see the light of day. I have been looking for one for ages, but no luck, and I am surprised that nobody has made new ones; Sport/SS/ yellow Desmo, yes, but not 750GT/Singles.
There is a reversed gear lever available for the modern Ducatis which fits, and that is what I am using, but I bet a gear lever from a Japanese bike would fit, it just needs someone to find out which one!
Cheers,
Colin

Hi Ian,
Yes, I have considered that one, but after postage and 30% VAT and duties on top it makes it pretty expensive.
Cheers,
Colin

Re: Wanted Gear lever for scrambler
Being a cheapskate, I just use the heel part of the heel 'n toe lever, with my rearsets and find that it works away fine and when selecting neutral from first, a quick tap with the heel on the toe part of the lever selects neutral. I have another heel 'n toe lever that has had the rear half removed, but, when reversed the angle is incorrect and it is a pain to use. However, I suspect that it might be a bit short for a Scrambler or the R/T? And, if looks are important, the heel stump will reqquire a dressing and the whole a re-chrome to tart it up.
As for the washing machine Ducati lever that fits query? Unfortunately, I haven't tried any alternatives to date.
Good health, BillR
