Does anyone know the Brisk equivalent spark plug for the NGK B7HS? When I look online it shows 6 different ones. Thanks.

Have a look here - http://www.f2motorcycles.ltd.uk/brisk_spark_plugs.html

They are in UK so you probably won't buy from them but they have a simple chart.
I was using N15C Brisk in place of NGK B6HS.
Looks like you would need Brisk N14C.

Brisk N14C is the one I'm using. Dave Angel at F2 Motorcycles is very friendly and helpful on the phone, and there's a fascinating biog of his motorcycling life on the website. He's always attracted to slightly offbeat bikes, and he told me he's just bought two Sanglas 500s.

On another matter, Jordan mentions "To help diagnose, you could try a cheap CDI coil made for scooters.
I have used one of these for some years now on my 350.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285299749657".

If ever I run out of Motoplat coils (I've got three), I might keep one of these in reserve. But I can't find any info on the wiring - what gets connected to what?

Thanks,
Pete.

I'm sorry that I forgot about a difference between the two CDI systems used on bevel singles.
The Indian made CDI coil Mitsubhi module I use is based on Ducati's own version of CDI, which is slightly different from Motoplat hardware.
There are differences in the alternator stators. The Motoplat has an ignition charging coil in the stator that has one wire going outside of the engine to the CDI coil module, and the other wire is earthed within the stator. The Ducati version has both wires from the charging coil exiting to the CDI module. That is why there is an extra wire from the stator in the Ducati type CDI compared to the Motoplat CDI.
I'm not sure if that rules out using the Indian module with a Motoplat stator. But at the price - may be worth a try?
Wiring is not a big problem. I think the colour description molded into the Indian part (in Italian & English) follows the Ducati wiring scheme.
Photo is of the module on my single.
