Not a motorcycle problem but a Motoscrubs forum problem. I've sent a PM to JimF regarding this, but it's staying in my "outbox" and looks like it's not been sent.
I'm receiving a lot of messages reading: "Internal Server Error" whilst clicking around various threads and functions on the forum. This happens both on my Windows 10 Laptop and my Android Mobile phone using both Brave browser and Google Chrome. I can usually refresh the screen or click on the browser "back" button to clear the error, both machines and all browser have the latest updates and patches.
The full text of the message reads:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Anybody else experiencing this?
Regards
Phil

Yes, it was doing this a couple of weeks ago and then seemed to rectify itself but is back at it again over the last couple of days (for me anyway) I don't know why its doing this?

I too am having problems with this glitch, using both DuckDuckGo and the supposed "workaround", Google Chrome! Getting a bit shonky!

Re: "Internal Server error" whilst accessing the fourum
Apologies to those who might not be having troubles, but using either DuckDuckGo, or the Google Chrome workaround, I am again beset, with the "500 Internal Server Error" messages and inability to post! Some might be pleased at the latter!
However, I shall keep persevering, this has been the first time this week that I have been able to persuade the forum site to play ball.

Re: "Internal Server error" whilst accessing the fourum
I logged a service ticket with the web host service provider, but they said there was nothing wrong.
Clearly they are wrong, so I need to document this better or find a foolproof way to recreate the error so they can experience it.
What’s not helping is that I am in the middle of a long distance move. My old house is sold and my new house is delayed. I am disadvantaged as most of my web interactions are limited to what I can do with my phone.
I will address to the best of my ability but it may be problematic for a while.

Aye JimF,
Even though the server provider denied any problems, I think that they have made some adjustments, as I logged in as smooth as silk tonight.
Thank you.
I hope that your move doesn't become too chaotic, it's more important than fretting about the forum, although I suspect some will be in a cold sweat after that staTement.
It's not that I don't value the forum and it's encyclopedic content, it's that your welfare is more important and if alternative arragements for the forum have to be made, we as users will have to sort something out.
Good health, BillR

That's classic I.T. industry for you Bill!
I used to work as a computer field engineer...... the number of times I went to a customer site, rang the helpdesk to discuss the problem, for them to say "nothing to do with us" only for the problem to magically disappear minutes later. Usually it was a British Telecom helpdesk.
