Re: cam drive gears
I don't think so, the part numbers are different.

Re: cam drive gears
looking for upper bevel shafts/cam gears getting a bit confused.what length should a 250 shaft be ? seems there usualy measured from the underside of the gear to the end .
im also seeing 2 types of shaft 1 with a continuous thicker shaft and one waisted type where the majority of the centre section is narrower,is this how you tell 250 from 175 if not length or is the thicker shaft a widecase or performance model i.e mach 1 thing.
i finally got hold of a 4 speed parts book from ducati mecanica site and that shows a waisted type for a 250 but dont know how accurate that is.

Re: cam drive gears
I THINK the shafts that are waisted are narrow-case and the thicker shafts are wide-case, but I may be wrong.

Re: cam drive gears
250 narrowcase top bevels are the same as the 175 in length (both have the same stroke). Thin shafts are narrowcase and thick ones Widecase as George said. 250 wide and 350 narrow are functionally the same, but different shaft diameters (but can be interchanged).
