OK sorry, I have edited this post so I don't look like such a complete moron. These pictures are of what I supposed were a Green White cam, and an Unknown cam. The lift heights are in a post below the images. Based on the link Jordan posted to Jim's cam data, I now believe I have a 350 Green White cam, and a Violet Sebring/Monza cam. Thanks Jordan.
If I am incorrect ,or someone has a different opinion as to what these cams are, please let me know
Thanks

Re: 250 cam identification
OK apologies for wasting everyone's time. Obviously I don't know what I'm doing. But hopefully I do now.
I was measuring my base circle incorrectly. By measuring the narrowest part of the cam lobe and subtracting that from the longest measurement of the lobe I come up with the following...
Green White cam...
intake 9.86mm
exhaust 8.57mm
Unknown cam...
intake 7.75mm
exhaust 7.58mm
At least the photos were correct

Re: 250 cam identification
Using the chart Jordan gave me a link to it would appear that I have a green and white 350 cam and a Violet Sebring/Monza cam
Thank you Jordan

Re: 250 cam identification
Very good.
The figures you mention are the so-called lifts.
Note that they are not necessarily the same as the lifts at the valves, mainly because the rocker spindles may not be at the centres of the rockers.
I'm no expert, but cams were often described in terms of the valves' opening and closing points, expressed as degrees before or after top or bottom dead centre of crankshaft rotation.
A fuller picture is provided by a graph showing the amount of lift vs crank position.
Maybe that has some effect on performance.
Desmo enthusiasts would agree!

Re: 250 cam identification
...here some more pictures of camshafts (found here: https://www.desmo.net/). E stands for inlet, A stands for exhaust. I've changed the cams in my 450 motor, in the second pictures (on the left) shows the "old" probable original camshaft, the right hand picture depicts the now installed camshaft which is likely a green/white one.

Re: 250 cam identification
Let us know what difference the G/W cam makes; I had a 450 in standard trim and it was very reluctant to rev.

Re: 250 cam identification
Great thanks for all the replies. The photos really helped. It certainly looks like I do indeed have a green white cam. My main concern was identifying the "unknown" one, which I'm pretty certain now is a Monza violet one. I'm looking for a Grey cam for my Mach 1, but will use the green white until I find one.
I will post another thread to see if anyone has any experience and advice about re-timing after dual plugging a Mach 1 head.
Thanks to all who responded
