200 Elite/SS kick start

If anyone can help please,
I am upgrading the alternator system and have put the rotor and clutch basket and plates back on the engine the clutch works fine but kick start is not engaging it seems to slip. have I done a noddy mistake I havn't placed the side casing back on yet but nothing obvious looks wrong ant ideas or shall I pull clutch back off to see whats what, It seemed to be going so well,

I remember standing bewildered next to my 750 GT one day in '87. You know there needs to be some freeplay in the clutch cable...

Took the clutch basket off messaged George reassembled and all seems good now,

Thanks Paul, Didn't know that i just went into garage pulled clutch and yes as you said so that is now in the memory bank thank you,
Normally I check as I go along but I didn't and had to go back and redo, measure twice cut once

Going to do the wiring tomorrow and check the tappets, if all goes well might install the electronic ignition and nick the battery off the Zephyr,

What size of image are you trying to post, they maybe too large! If you try attaching files, say 4000 x 3000 pixels in size, these are too large. I have attached images 1000 x 750 pixels in size, with success, but I do not know what the maximum file size is specifically for this forum.

I assume that you have noticed the tab, lower left beneath the message box "Attachments", next to the "Options" tab. Or else you can "drag and drop" the file into the message box.

Software to reduce the size of image files that I use is 'Photoscape' a free software, one of many available to use depending upon your equipment etc.

Yes keeps saying image to large, I need my daughter around to show me lol I will show her the sites you said and then hopefully upload some pics
