Hi everyone.
As I have spoken before, I am looking for parts to get a Mark3 W / C 68-70. And I have doubts about some parts of this model.
-The headlight, according to the manual, reference 0687.38.204 of 130mm, with the integrated kilometer counter. I think it is the same as the one that could use a Ducati 125-160, but I don't have the Ducati 125-160 parts manual to compare the references.
Nor can I find reliable photos on the internet that match the image of the headlight in the manual.
It seems that at times you have used the same as the Scrambler 350.
It's confusing.

130 mm is correct. You're also correct that the 1968/69 Mark 3s had an integrated Veglia speedometer, part no. 0624.38.605/705. See photos page 172 of Falloon's "Book of the Ducati overhead singles".
In the 160 Monza manual that I have, the light itself has the same Aprilia reference: 130-4616-60. But the complete unit has a different Ducati part number : 0316.38.200.
Whether this is significant, I cannot say. Hopefully someone more expert can help.
As for the 125-175 models, it's not possible to make a direct comparison because, at the time of these models, Ducati used a different system for numbering parts.
As mentioned above, Falloon's "Book of the Ducati overhead singles" has photos of a 1968 350 Mark 3 (albeit restored).
Correct, according to Falloon. Because the American market required the use of a sealed beam light (don't ask ...), some models were equiped with the Scrambler headlight, part number 0687.38.205, and a "gruppo optica a tenuta stagna G.E"
It most certainly is ....

I have this 130mm Aprilia headlight, it doesn't have a built-in headlight.
I think it's from Scrambler or Mark 3, 70-72.

From what I see, the monza headlight does not have the Aprilia light switch, nor the small light.
That must be the difference to the Mark3 68-70 headlight.

From your links, I have attached this Mark3 brochure, it looks like 68-70, with the 2 watches, attached to the upper triple clamp, and I understand that it will have an Aprilia headlight that does not have the integrated kilometer counter.
I also enclose the manual sheet 450, in which it appears (I think it is the same).
Do you think that this lighthouse is the same one that I have?

The Mark3 should have the flared shape pressed into the top. I will see if I can find a photo of one.
Many models use the same headlamp bucket, but they are mostly all different in the way they are drilled for the position of the lights, switches and key position. This can be seen in the parts book and is why they all have different part numbers. Some are the same but will have different part numbers, like the Mark3 Desmo shells were chromed whereas Mark 3's were painted.
Don't rely wholly on "Bible" type books as clearly some of the bikes in the books are restored and sometimes incorrect. There is also the added confusion that some markets around the world had slightly differing specs.

For example, I see quite a few with the headlamp without KM count and clock mounts on the suspension bolts for KM count and RPM count, as in the photo.
Those watch stands, are they remanufactured?

The "Pods" were found on the later Mark3/ Mark3 Desmo's and the first 450's probably 70/71. I think the widely available parts book is 69 and the 450 is shown with the pods from the start, so maybe 69 450's would have had the pods. Those pods are also found on the SCR's. To my knowledge they are not remanufactured. I did once have a pair remade in stainless, not that difficult if you have one to copy. The 70/71 bikes with pods would have had the plain shells less the speedo aperture. It depends if your bike is a 68/69 bike or a 70 bike as to what it would have been fitted with. Sorry I had thought you were asking about a pre 70's bike, which would have had the flared shape top.
Interesting Ducati reverted back to the flared chrome pattern shell and separate Veglia tacho for the Silver shotgun, Ducati obviously thought it looked better, as I do.
