Well Bill he wants the rim himself. Which is fine by me. I am hoping that I can parlay that and a few other tasty bits into the 2 rims and Grimeca
rear brake/cush assembly that I need. He is also a great Ducati fan. He has an entry in his Registry that I am pretty familiar with. I think there is an
error in it. I will try to track down an old neighbor and friend who owned the bike 20 years ago and see if the record can be straightened out. That ought to be worth a couple of points, right?

As for myself, I have too many projects. Adding another marque to the mix would knock my wallet flat.

I have had my wheels rebuilt WM2/WM3 so that I can fit conti classic attack radial tyres. 90/90R18 51V Classic Attack Front, 110/90 R18 61V Continental Classic Attack Rear. I haven't got the bike running yet so cant comment on their performance. They however feel very sticky & look the part! My previous experience of radials over crossplys on a bike shows them in a different league. I put them on as a friend fitted them to a guzzi & said they transformed the bike!

I fitted Conti radials to my 900 S2 bevel a few years ago and it was one of the best things that I have ever done to it. The tyres really soak up the bumps, making for a much smoother ride, and really seem to suck the bike through the corners.

OK, last MK3D Borrani wheel question. Did the Silver Shotgun come with an 18" front or a 19" front. I am thinking 18", but want to make sure before I order a set of newly made rims. Finding good used will be a greater expense and may take a long time.

18” WM 2. Front and rear, same as the yellow drum brake bikes.
Yellow disc bike same, but front is 40 spoke. (disc bike both 4647)

Scrambler was 19” front
RT was 21” front
Both 18” wm3 rear
