Speedo bezels?

Hi

I have two speedometers, but they have different bezels.

Why? Different year? Widecase vs Narrowcast.

Will be grateful for any info

The bezels with several concentric rings were used until perhaps 1966-67. Probably the release of the square style bodywork saw the introduction of the smooth bezels

I guess that since most spares sold in the last 50 years were smooth, it explains why I see more of them for sale.
