Aye halfpast,
May I suggest that you have a look through this website and contact them via the telephone?
Motorcycleshockabsorbers
I have purchased Betor rear shocks for my MKIII 450 and they provide a firm, well damped ride on the road and I know others, who know how to scratch, have used them for racing.
They also supplied a Hagon monoshock for a Honda Bros 400, for less than Hagon could supply it, including carriage!
Good health, Bill

That looks like an interesting link, Bill - thanks.
I've been thinking of changing the front springs in my Vento, and they may well be able to help ...

Re: Tec Shocks
Thank you for an interesting discussion. Those links, with plenty of tales of woe from cheap shocks, prompted me to go for YSS. I would have got Ikon -same price- but they have a 6-week delivery delay and YSS is in stock. I hope to get the bike running over Xmas.
be nice, I'm not very bright.

Re: Tec Shocks
YSS are easily the best value shocks; I've had them on the back of my GT1000 Sport Classic for ten years and they work superbly, with damping adjustment fine enough to allow for summer/ winter and a superb finish that lasts.
