WTB: Mach 1 rear fender and a couple other items...

Postby blaat! » Tue Dec 24, 2019 8:59 pm

Anyone have a Mach 1 rear fender they are looking to sell? Prefer solid but need not be perfect.

Also need for the same bike:

• a wheel (or two) worth of double butted spokes
• Rear shocks
• Chain guard

Can do $ or I have some Mach 1 parts I would trade such as a 150mph speedo, brake lever, heel/toe shifter, & headlight bucket. Also have an extra Diana style tank and some other miscellaneous parts.

Thanks!
Jim

Great to know Eldert. Any link to a website? I searched but couldn't find anything. Do you know the cost?

I've been attempting to use survivor parts (rather than re-pops) for the Items that were missing when I got the bike, but if the back fender is too hard to come by/pricey I may need to use this option.

Thanks!

Love the look of the bike in the image BTW. The patina on that tank looks so nice with the rest of the bike.

Hi Jim. I am interested in the Diana style tank. Also looking for a MK1 style headlight bucket.

Thanks, George

Still looking for a couple items...

I need just three more double butted spokes, and two nipples in order to complete both wheels. Some rust/pitting on the spokes is not a problem.

Also looking for a set of the shorter (clip-on style) headlight fork ears.

Can do $ or trade.

Thanks!
Jim

I ended up cutting down a standard length pair. If you do nice accurate machining, you can’t tell the difference once they are in place.
