For the past three years Diana was forced to sleep under the house, unloved and ignored (except for the occasional kick and wipe down with oil) — pumped up the tires today, installed battery from the Honda 305 Dream, a splash of fuel in the tank and....vroom, lit off with the first kick and took me to the market for food as if I'd never left her.

Would have been quite a different read had it been Mark (3) instead of Diana..

Ha, ha, very good! Actually, though, I just wanted to extol the virtue of my Duc. Paradise has lost none of its allure.
I suppose one could compare a long-stored bike to a faithful dog that waits for years for the return of his master, but it wouldn't have quite the same nuance, what with Ducatis being Italian and all.....

People who know considerably more about these bikes than me have said that it is in fact a Diana Mark3 — if so, would that make it transgender?
