Clutch slip 250 NC

Yesterday I noticed that there appeared to be some slip, The plates are Nigels thicker set which uses 1 less than STD. I can't imagine there is anything wrong with them,so considering spring pressure . Does it work to pack the springs? , I will be taking it down shortly and will check for even lift,bust springs, loose screws etc. An earlier post by Nigel mentions the use of a 1mm spacer with the thicker plates?.

Nigel has given me the gen on this, I think its likely that a spring screw has come loose or a spring broke, We will see.
