175TS Regulator/Rectifier

I had spare hour today so I thought I'd see if my reg/rec is any good. It's a 6-wire unit a bit like the one described here (http://www.motoscrubs.com/Ducati_6V_Regulator.htm) but not exactly the same. A couple of pictures attached. Does anyone know if the test procedure described here (http://www.motoscrubs.com/Ducati_Tech/Berliner%2013.jpg) also applies to mine. If so, it's dead.
I have around 45 ohms from red-yellow 1 and 68 ohms from red-yellow 2, and is very similar when the meter is connected the other way. The detachable section on top is fully potted in resin so I don't think it is worth trying to fix. The bottom half all looks OK and the resistor seems good at 29 ohms.
