Man, it's in my backyard too, I've seen them go way higher than that but still can't bring myself to part with that kind of money for one of these..

I hear you. That's "asking" price though - so it might go for less. Some guy had a 450 Desmo head on eBay last week and the opening bid was $2500! For just the head mind you. I have seen the heads listed at 1500 in the past.

The bad part of this is when 450 Desmos are selling for upwards of $10K several years from now we will kick ourselves for not trying to get these "opportunities" into our garages for a few thousand when we had the chance.
