160 monza carb
I wondered if anybody has fitted a Amal concentric carb to a 160 Monza jr. Any advice would be most welcome.

The spanish made 125 SCR http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/ducati_125_scrambler_1973.php from 1971 which I had a long time ago came with an AMAL 375/20 http://amalcarb.co.uk/monobloc-series/375-series/base-line-specifications/standard-25-32-monobloc-carburettor.html monobloc. Settings:
size 20mm
needle A1
main jet 95
pilot jet 12
slide 375/3
needle pos. 1
needle jet 105/DA
Maybe this is useful for you.

You might want to visit the Burlen Fuel Systems site. They have some great on-line tools that will let you look at all the OEM fitments of Amals over the years and drill down to bore size, jetting etc. I would look for similarly sized singles and see what carb was used and how it was jetted. It would give you info to establish a starting point.
