250 Identification

Postby DCVinman » Thu Nov 05, 2015 3:21 am

I bought a 250 engine and frame. It may prove to be just a bunch of salvageable parts but I need to know what it is. Checked online with not much luck. It is a widecase model with a battery tray on the frame. No frame #'s or sticker. The engine has only the designation DM250 stamped into the front engine mount boss. There are no other #'s except a string of #'s located along the top of the left case behind the cylinder. These #'s are NM15000390. I believe this to be a # issued by the state of New Mexico for a lost title. The intake measures 27mm.
Thanks if you can help. I could post pics if that is allowed.

Yes, pictures are allowed and will help greatly.

When you are writing your text you will see a blue box below it with two tabs, options and attachments. You click on attachments and then navigate to the picture you want to include. Then select "place inline" and the picture will go in where your cursor is.
