Front wheel removal
Previously, I had the luxury of using a friends' cherry picker to lift the front of the bike by the triple tree to remove the front tire, but not anymore. Any other simple 'backyard' methods for lifting the front? Thanks in advance...

Re: Front wheel removal
Place on centre stand, then a car scissor jack under the sump, with some wood or plastic for protection.

Or, if you don't have a jack but do have a mate, you could put the bike on the centre stand then put your weight on the back of the pillion seat until the bike rocks back on the stand like on a see-saw and the friend/helper pops a (previously cut) bit of 4x2 under the sump.

That's actually what I ended up doing...worked well since the jack i had didn't go low enough.
