31.5mm Marzocchi's outer springs

Postby narrow_monza » Sun Aug 30, 2015 2:07 am

Just finished rebuilding my 31.5mm Marzocchi's.
One area of concern: one of the outer springs is VERY snug against its fork tube. Is this something I should address?

A snug fork spring will wear the outer surface of the fork tube and compromise the sealing surface. Even a properly fitting spring will wear the tube eventually. Internal springs would be an improvement. Matt

I haven't had any tight fitting springs like you say. besides wearing your fork tubes you want both springs to be the same. id replace both of them.
