I have a 1968 Ducati Monza 250 Wide case in original condition, I have been told that it is quite rare and should be painted back to original color.
It was originally silver, would anyone have the paint code for this? My painter is starting on it next week!

Not sure if your silver is the same as a 1996 Mach 1, however, I used Mercedes Silver DB744.70F- this was matched by a paint shop using a M1 tank that had been stored indoors for 30 years as reference.

Has anyone been able to cross reference the Lechler codes to a paint line available in the US?
I showed the codes to every paint shop in town, even contacted the area sales reps, and no one could use the Lechler codes to mix paint.

The Lechler chart doesn't seem to match what I have been told.
I am told my bike was originally metallic Silver (DUC A18, I assume).
What Lechler has for 1966-68 Monza 250 is after google translate is;
" MAIN COLOR BLEU MET DUC A32
OTHER DETAILS BLACKS DUC BRILLIANT A10"
I have been told two different stories from Ducati guru's, one says it was metallic Blue,
the other says metallic Silver and this is the color they went when the lacquer/clear coat they used went off with age,
I lightly scratched the top layer off and it is definitely silver underneath.
Below is a close up my fuel tank, the whole bike is in the same colour.

Bob Miller from Clinton CT told me Mercedes Astial Silver from the early 60's.
