Fork identification

Postby duck749 » Tue Mar 03, 2015 11:57 pm

How can I tell which size/type front fork is on my '66 monza jr? I tried searching and only found about a tag with the year but couldn't find anything. I measured the OD of lower tube and got 38mm so I asume 35mm shock? Looking at other pictures online I believe they are standard. I am in middle of restoring this and now am onto shocks and cables...

Nearly all narrow case bikes were 31.5, but I believe the Monza 160cc (your bike) and 98cc/125cc Bronco shared the 30mm fork....they're definitely standard fitment.
