What did I buy!
Hi fellow gear heads. I'm starting a build up with a set of cases that are marked : DM250 81899. Can someone direct me to a registry that identifies year and model. Thanks for your help. bill

____ I much doubt that you were really looking for such a faulty list that's a near 50/50-mix of good-info & misleading-info !
In any case, it sure leaves a fair bit to be desired, (such-as the country the reported Duke was found residing in, and whether it might be a Mototrans-production) ! ...
__ It seems that that-list has unfortunately been compiled with data provided by individual owners who apparently merely take their best-guess at what 'year' they ASSUME their Duke to be. _ And-so consequently, that list includes a hodgepodge assortment of both good & BAD info/data ! _ (So it seems that if you-yourself happened to care to get your-own Duke/motor registered on that list, and possibly wanted it recorded as being a 1876 model-year,, then I wouldn't be too-awfully surprised to see it added to that list exactly as so submitted, without question.)
So it's a good-thing that there's still a few of us left who know-better of what to trust and what is actually garbage-info !
____ Your presented motor-number is most-likely a '1961' edition, (although may not have been sold until 1962).
If your motor's alt.stator has just two wire-leads, then it was most likely a Monza-model .
Duke-Cheers,
-Bob

PLEASE NOTE... If this-post is not-yet signed-off with '-Bob', then I'm still in the process of completing it,, and if not also included with 'DCT' near bottom as well, then I may edit this post's wording at a later time. - Dct.Bob
