Carburetor cleaning

My favorite carb cleaner is simple green mixed with water in an old crock pot. I turn the temp on high and drop the carb in for a hot bath. Ater 3 or 4 hours it comes out clean as a whistle. My old mechanic in Dallas used the same mix with his ultrasonic carb cleaner. Pinesol works good too. Give the carb a good wash afterwards with the hose. I think both cleaners have mild acids in them.
