69 Widecase Mark3 fenders & tool boxes wanted

Postby amartina75 » Sun Sep 29, 2013 3:19 pm

Hello, I am looking for any series 1 Widecase Mark3 body parts that anyone might have.
I have a set of Narrowcase Scrambler fenders to trade, and possibly other parts one might need.
I am looking to trade or buy.
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi Aaron,

i think i have front fender in blue - i would trade it for the rear nc scrambler fender.
Wouldt you sell the front fender extra?

regards Karsten

i think the early widecase mark 3 has stainless steel ( inox ) fenders
only the 73/74 mark 3 had a blue front fender for a 19 inch wheel

Hello Karsten,
Thanks for your reply, I would trade the rear fender for your front if it is the right
Fender. My mk3 came original with chromed steel fenders, some mk3's came with painted fenders
Otherwise the same. The later mk3 bikes are totally different animals.
If you could post a pic or two of the fender you have
We could identify it.
Thanks
Aaron

Thanks for your responce Karsten, and for the pictures.
unfortunately that is not the correct fender for an early Mark3 Widecase bike. It looks to be off of a later Mark3.
If you look at the pictures i've added the blue bike is a later series Mark3 the other picture are the earlier type.
I am looking for the early type bodywork, mine is completly rusted away and not repairable.
thanks,
Aaron

Hello Karsten,
If you want to sell your late mk3 guards I'm interested.
I waited to see if Aaron needed them first.
Regards
Graeme

Hello Karsten,
Thanks for the info about the tank i found the one you were speaking of, it's a nice tank.
I already found a tank and had it restored, i will post a picture of it. I do still need one of the tank badges for it, the left side I believe.
Thanks,
Aaron
