Narrow Case kick start repair revisited.
Someone on the forum was asking me about the 'bridge' that puts a more even spring pressure on the narrowcase kick start mechanism.
It appears to be a Ducati part as the drawing taken from a Ducati restoration book (one of Mick Walker's I think) seems to be typical of the Ducati drawings of the era.
Yet I don't see it in any parts books I have.
Is this a Ducati part and does it have a number or name that identifies it?
Does anyone know of a supplier of these?

Hello Jim
I've got those bridges, also the spring and I think the loc tabs for the screws. I have got the part number of the bridge somewhere I think, I'll have a look.

Don't like to plug things, but if it helps....

Re: Narrow Case kick start repair revisited.
Jim, As Nigel mentioned he has them. As far as a picture and part number, it is only found in the 1966 print parts manual, featuring the 350 sebring, it also has a lot of helpful info about the differences between 1964-1965 and 1966 dukes. I asked around here about this manual and no one seemed to have one, I did finally buy one a while back. Here are some pics from the manual.
The spring part # is 0603.07.185
The plate part # is 0603.07.125

Hi Nigel,
Thank you for respecting the commercial free nature of our forum.
You are not plugging when you respond to a request for sources, and your concern for propriety is appreciated and your personal integrity is notably admirable in world where such standards are rare.
I and everyone on the list will appreciate it when we ask after some part and you bring to our attention that you can supply it.
Thank you.
Jim

Hi Nigel,
I'm about to order the bridge and spring from your website. Could you point me to the lock tabs?
Thanks

Hello Adrian
They are not on the site, we are very behind on loading some items up, never seems enough time. If you can wait a day or so I'll dig them out and get Edina to load them up and post a link.
Regards Nigel

Hi Nigel,
What about the spacer that is part of the repair kit featured in Jim's write up (see attached photo).
Do you carry them? or can you send me the exact dimensions?
Thanks

Re: Narrow Case kick start repair revisited.
Well I got everything out of the way for the procedure (see photo).
All I need is a couple of M6 bolts and the the spacers.
Anyone remember the lengths of the bolts and spacers?
Thanks
