I am happy somebody here got the parts.
WIth Syds and DesmoPro in the same neck of the woods I was surprised the parts were not snatched up by them for shelf stock.

Re: A small cache of parts on craigslist in FLA
The owner of the parts I bought lived maybe 15 blocks from Syd's cycles.
From my experience, used parts sellers only buy parts for no more than 10 cents on a dollar, then sell them
for many many times as much as they payed. A fare profit ?
A very large motorcycle bone yard in Tampa Fl 25 yrs or so ago, 15 acres of vintage good parts, in large rooms for each marque.
The owner who was known all over Fla.passed away, and friends or relatives, tried to sell off the parts for the estate.
I went there, just for the Ducati/Parilla singles room. Being out of work at the time, I inquired about the price for all the parts.
Thinking that they never thought much about Italian motorcycles, they hinted I could make an offer for more than 1800.00$
the parts could be mine.I only had 40.00$, and didn't know any one who would loan me 2 grand, I bought 4 mach1/mk3 near mint tanks for the$ 40.00 Every time I see a beat up Ducati gas tank on e-bay go for 3-4 hundred dollars I kick my self for not finding a way to buy all those parts.I sold 1 tank for enough money for gas to get to Daytona bike week, sold another one to Henery Hogbin at Daytona for 35.00$ for gas to go home.I have One left today. Still kicking my self in the ass.
