im looking for new distance knobs for my rear shocks.
Has anybody an source or an idea for replacement?

Try finding some small brass rivets (used for knife handles) at an old fashioned or well stocked hardware store. If an approximate size can be located, use the "male" part of the two-part rivet, grind it to a length slightly longer than the thickness of the shroud and peen it into place. This how I effected my own repair.

To make new replacements in nylon with a small lathe is super-easy.

Yup, that's what I did on a Japanese set of shocks.
You might be able to find small nylon screws at the hardware store. They are normally in those cardboard drawers in the fastener aisle. You could get a size that would thread into the hole, then just nip off the long end and hit the head with a file until you have the right thickness.

when i would use semitransparent screws instead white it would be perfect.
The remainig head should be not thicker then 1 mm.
