Obviously (I suppose) the Scrambler pedal would fit but it would cost LOADSA MONEY.
At present I've got the CORRECT heel and toe pedal: I bought it last year when I found my disintegrated hip could NOT stand the clip ons and rear sets the bike came with. But I can't get easy with this heel and toe business. I'm beginning to find it more . . . familiar, but I don't actually use the "heel" part and the underside of the "toe" bit is gouging lumps out of the top of my boot when I hook the pedal up to change down.
Don't worry, I'll keep the correct pedal and put it back on when I sell it - if the buyer wants - but for now I just need something from a .... who knows what might fit?
I've measured the shaft and counted the splines, but nobody buys or sells gear pedals on that basis: it's always just by the model the given pedal fits. I've tried a couple of breakers: no suggestions and very little interest. (You could tell it was never going to be the day's big sale.
)So does anyone here know what I could use other than my heel and toe item or a Scrambler one?
