Kickstart "stop"

Postby atreyu » Sun Dec 28, 2014 12:52 pm

Hi All,

Probably a very basic question but I've never had a Ducati on the road only racers so the kickstart is something new. Can someone tell me what acts as the lower stop on the kickstart to stop it traveling too far and/or the return spring getting over stressed. I notice there is a cam on the kickstart shaft so I guess its something to do with this but this seems to act as the "upper" stop?

Let's start with knowing the model - narrow or wide case? Different kickstart arrangements.
