Does anyone know where to find a kickstart shim for a 450 scrambler? Specifically, in mm, id,od,thickness = 22.1x27.5x0.5
The Ducati, classics site in England is non responsive. I have tried McMaster and other suppliers but the thickness and diameter are a difficult combination.
Thanks in advance for any help or direction.

You could always try us
http://www.laceyducati.com
Not sure we have them new, until I can check tomorrow, but we would certainly have a good used one. Let me know if I can help.
Regards Nigel

Hi Ducatisti,
the german Seeger Company http://www.seeger-orbis.com/products/shim-and-washers/shims/ manufactures not only circlips but also shim washers, in countless diameters, with different thicknesses. Here is a view of their shim catalog: http://data.seeger-orbis.de/catalog/?page=103, 25x30x0.5 will certainly do the job.
Here in Germany, industrial suppliers selling SKF bearings often also stock the Seeger shims. Possibly, this applies also to the UK, US or AUS.
cheers Hans

Thanks Hans,
At last I know why they call them Seeger rings in the Ducati manuals.
