both sides?

hello,

I 've shimmed out the crankshaft (widecase), but have a question (probably stupid).

Do the shims have to be on one side (clutchside) or do you have to center the crankshaft and put shims on both sides?

I thought only on the clutchside, but i'm not sure about it.

The widecase workshop manual says to shim on the clutch side.
