Manuals and parts lists - 175 Sport

Postby Sigean » Mon Jan 13, 2014 8:58 am

Hi,

I am new to the forum and wondered if it has any library facility for Ducati manuals or parts lists. I am interested in information on the 175 Sport model (1958) in particular, and on the widecase 350 used in the Condor. Any advice appreciated.

Hello Peter,
There are manuals and other useful information.
The only way I know to get to them is close down the forum and look for motoscrubs.com in google and open that.
There's a picture of a nice workshop and a single. Scroll down and you will find it.
There must be a link here somewhere but I can't find it.
And welcome. Some very helpful people here.
Regards
Graeme

Many thanks for this and I have tried the site, but nothing substantive for the 175 models!

On a different subject, are there any Ducati dealers in the UK who might specialise in this model? I have tried the excellent Lacey, but they admit to not having this specific expertise.

E bay de in Germany has a Condor handbook for sale.
Item no. 331105792552. German and French text though.
Barry Jones at Classic Ducati may have a few 175 related parts.
I've got parts books for both Italian and Spanish 175s if you need help.
I'm based in London,UK.
PM me if required.

Barry Jones has an excellent reference point right now. He's currently working on my pretty much unmolested 175 Sport. Other than the replacement of its tail light way back when with a period Lambretta job it's original.

A friendly enthusiast in Italy has the shop manual available for download http://s5.histats.com/stats/r.php?10417 ... ManOff.pdf. Drawbacks: you have to know or learn the italian language, and it is a huge 64Mbyte file.
I never came across a parts list for the 175 or 200 models.

cheers Hans

Many thanks for the advice and particularly to Hans/Ducwiz (the Italian manual was perfetto, molto grazie!) and I now have a much better feel for this delightful little engine.

Kind regards to you all,

Peter

They exist, but only come up very rarely on eBay. I've seen parts books for:
175 Sport (only)
175 Sport/200 Elite/200 Super Sport/200 Turismo. I've seen 2 different versions of this.

As to owner's manuals, I've seen them for:
175 Sport (in Italian)
175 Turismo (in Italian or French or English)
175 Turismo Sport (in English)
200 Super Sport & Turismo Sport (English)
200 Super Sports (sic) (English)

But rare!

HTH.

Ebay item Number:
151209490279

Could this be the book you are looking for? I am on a smartphone and I can't quite get the description to match it to your request for a manual.

That's it, and many thanks, but I think I might have found one in the UK and this will avoid the outrageous Customs Duty, which is even applied to the postage costs!

Kind regards,

Peter
