Rocker covers can warp over the years.
A sheet of glass and some wet and dry paper. Figure eight on the wet and dry and you will see if the cover is warped or not. If warped, keep going until it is flat.
I’ve seen small hair line cracks on them too. Devcon HVAC epoxy will stand the heat.
Best way to find an oil leak, wash the area with petrol, dry it, cover with talcum powder.
You will see the wet (oil) talcum powder.

I started a new topic, called "Oily Head" as opposed to "Head Repair Springer 250 bevel drive pass through hole"
As a result of some really good knowledge sharing from the erudite people on this forum, the bike runs and rides and starts super well now.
But an oil leak, eventually found source to be from the bevel tunnel tube, it leaked against the cylinder onto the fins and dripped all over the place, couldn't see it on the bike.
