Flaker,

I'm running the suspension, both front and rear, from a 1970s Montesa Scorpian. The rear shocks are there just because they were what the PO had on hand to make it taller.

Basically, the original length center stand wouldn't even reach the ground when extended.

I really want to get rid of the side kickstand, not only does it not reach the ground either, but I just think it looks ugly for this customized build.

Matt,
You may want to use a modified 160 centerstand , as they are tubular steel and more easily worked with. I "streched" one slightly for my 250 with 18" wheels and prefer the look over the bulky 250 type.

That is exactly what I was planning, just wish my bike had come with it.

Well I got the eBay one.... So now I'm holding a wide case stand, a 160 stand an soon the monza 250 real McCoy! It's always stuff like this that slows everything down. I'm going to most likely use the monza one.... So I'll have the 160 one to sell if you want it. I'll look what I paid for it. I just want to put both stands on and compare. You bike looks super cool by the way! I'll let u know when I get it. Best, Rob

Flanker,

Too funny, I was wondering who got that one before me! Consider it sold. Paypal or do you prefer a check?
