Just down to sorting out the seat pan now. Started cleaning it back to bare metal and fabricated the replacement seat mount today. My friend Marco had access to a metal bender...very helpfull. Don't know who did the last welding on this seat pan, but it ain't what I'd call elegant. Crude, but effective, might be a fair description.

A bit of futher cleaning up and MIG welding tomorrow and with some luck I'll get some primer on tomorrow. Time is getting is critical as I'm trying to get it together for next weekend's Albany Hill Climb. Not to compete on it as it won't be run in, but I'd like to take it down for the display and to clock up a few run-in miles on it down there. Fingers crossed!
I'm going to come back and tidy this up properly come winter. Right now, I just need a seat to ride it.
