somewhere I read that the RT's geometry didn't work well as a road racer or cafe type. This guy looks like he would disagree. It is interesting though it just doesn't do it for me.

I'd say some serious love went into that build, lots of little details and finish work, certainly prettier than mine will be.
Unfortunately looks much more like a 'show-er' than a 'go-er', doesn't appear to me that any of the needed geometry mods were done on the frame.
At the very minimum the rake needs to be brought out, when these have shorter street forks and an 18" wheel that gets the frame sitting level, the front end comes down to the point where the rake is around 21 degrees. That combined with what looks like 70 mm offset triple clamps would yield about 40 or 50mm of trail, a very unstable and scary number (should be at least a 100mm). The lack of trail, the long wheelbase and too much rearward weight bias... I don't even know what all that adds up to but it can't be good...
