Anyone know of a source for Mototrans parts - specifically the snail type chain adjusters and a "road" tank (looks like a scrambler tank but no ears on the front)?
I have been checking Ebay but Mototrans stuff seems few and far between.
Any leads appreciated.

Mototrans specific parts are tough. DomiRacer has a few. Mototrans parts start with the prefix 0789. If you search their pricelist, you can see what they have. Eurotrash Jambalya has repro headlight ears in stainless steel. Amal carb parts you can get from the Brit bike guys. Bodywork is tough. It took me over a year to find the correct headlight rim on E-Bay. Of course, once I found it, two more showed up. EBay seller Nortonhogslayer sometimes has parts. He has nothing listed right now.

Good lead on DomiRacer. Checked their p/l and a no-go for what I am looking for but there is a few items there that may be what others are looking for.
Guess I will keep my eyes on fleabay...

I found this diagram but it does not have all the measurements on it. Bummer.

I can take some measurements off mine when I get home if you would like.

That would be great.
I was able to blow up the drawing to where the known measurement of the center hole was correct. Based on that I should be able to measure the drawing to get it pretty close.
May give a shot at making some from 1/8" plate.

The factory one measures about 20 mm from the center of the hole to the nearest point on the cam. It is about 45 mm to the farthest point. Where the flat is the original has a tab bent over at 90°. It measures 3.25 mm thick. That is the best I could do with the bike jammed in the corner of the garage. If you need better measurements, I can pull the adjuster when it gets a little warmer.

That is good enough. Thanks.
The blown up drawing is really close to those dimensions so I think it should be good enough as a starting point.
