That's certainly a possibility George and would explain the symptoms. I guess another couple of hours in the garage with my better half asking, "Do you love that thing more than me?" :lol:

I JUST went through this with my 250, would start fine and idle but cut out when opening the throttle. I even replaced old gas with fresh gas.
It turned out to be a stuck petcock in the closed position, from a cold winter. When it finally popped open, the gas flowed freely and engine ran just as before winter. Frustrating in the meantime, though.

Unfortunately I have had the chance to look further into it yet as I’ve been sorting out some issues with my Darmah but will report back when I get a chance.
