30mm Dellorto PHBH jetting for 200 SS/Elite

Postby JimLardassian » Fri Dec 03, 2021 1:27 am

I am looking for advice from anyone who has fitted a 30mm PHBH to a 200 SS/Elite regarding a starting point for jetting. Bike has a factory long megaphone fitted. Thanks.

Hi Jim,

I think that you will struggle to find info. The 239 Single used a 30mm Dell'Orto, so maybe you could start from there?

The settings are: Needle K3; Main Jet 125; Pilot Jet 65; Slide 50/3; Needle Jet 265AB.

Let us know how you get on.

Colin

Thank you Colin, that's exactly what I needed, a starting point.

You can buy the carb set up for Ducati singles from dellorto.co.uk Mike worked out of the box (on a mach1).

Thanks for the reply, I am slightly confused by it however. Are you saying that Mike (sorry, I'm new to the forum, so do not know who he is) is selling carb set-up information for a Mach 1, or that Dellorto in the UK sells a carb that is set up for a Ducati single (in this case a Mach 1).

In either case do you have a link you could provide. I couldn't find either when I went to dellorto.co.uk

Thanks for your help, really appreciate it

Aye Jim,

Here is the link to Eurocarb Ltd, home page, who are the Dellorto carburettor specialists in the UK.

Eurocarb_(Dellorto_suppliers_UK)

I have used Eurocarb for genuine Dellorto spare parts, when rebuilding and tuning the carburettor on a Moto Morini 125H. Sound advice and very helpful, but Dellorto prices can be eye watering.

Good health, Bill
