Hi,
I have just removed the old bearings out of the sprocket hub. The outer one is alone, but the inner one has a sleeve that has me a bit mystified as how to remove it. Is it split in the centre of the bearing ? It looks like it could be in 3 pieces ?
I have looked at the online parts diagram but it`s not clear to me.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers.

Re: 450 Scr sprocket hub bearing replacement
Hi
Looking at the parts book, there is a spacer between the two bearings, and a spacer between the inner bearing and the hub.
So you are correct in thinking that it is split in the centre of the bearing. Looks like it's in two pieces.
Hope this helps

Re: 450 Scr sprocket hub bearing replacement
If it is similar to the vee twin hubs, the spacer in the middle of the bearings is machined in one piece, with sleeve sections at each end and a centre section that spaces the bearings. One bearing is fitted into the sprocket carrier, then the centre spacer is slid into it and then the second nearing slides over that into position.

As Colin (Duccout) says.
Copper grease to prevent seizing in the bearing recommended.
Good health, Bill
