Re: mototrans 250 deluxe model
Very nice, Jon (I didn't know you had one of those). A real 'Gentleman's Machine' ...
Hey! Just got an original Telesco steering damper for my Vento (which is stil zooming around very happily). Paid the princely sum of £5.00. Makes not a blind bit of difference, I'm glad to say
. Still looking for the proper kick start lever, tho' ...
Saludos,
Craig

Hi Craig,
Those Telesco steering dampers were never much good.
I reckon I should grind/weld up a parallel twin kickstart up for you.
You'll never tell the difference once it's re-worked and re-chromed.
I finished the De Luxe last year , thanks to Joe Martina and Nigel Lacey for sorting me out with the Spanish crank .
Thanks guys.
Jon

Hi Jon,
Yeh, the steering damper's only been put back for the sake of completeness
. And yes, I may yet be back to you for your offer on the kickstart ...
Where did you find the De Luxe? In UK or Spain? Gotta say I think it looks best in black, but thanks for the photo, Phil

The 250 De Luxe was imported from Spain into the UK by John Fallon back in 1997.
A friend bought it and put it in his garage, but did nothing to it.
It came to me about three years ago.
I'll try and post a photo in the 'as received' condition.

ducati scrambler
Hi
I would like an idea as to how much to pay for a 250 Ducati scrambler. It is a non runner and needs registering. The person selling it has sent photos and it looks to be in standard condition.
cheers syrup head
