Wanted - Contact Key

Postby useless dog » Fri May 15, 2020 8:58 am

I am looking for a contact key (or the dimensions of the key) for a 160TS. I understand that they are common across many models and Italian companies.

UK based bike/motorcyclist!! (Should have mentioned originally - apologies)

Hi and welcome to the Forum,

First off, it really helps with requests like this if you say where you are in the world ;) . That avoids you getting references from half way round the globe when the very same thing could have been found in the town 10 miles up the road ...

Now to your request. Here's one potential source, in the States:

Dear Ventodue,
I was lying in bed last night thinking exactly the same thing!! I am in the UK which is a very useful piece of information to have included.
I think this is my only non-UK based forum and I forgot.
Apologies to one and all.

Any UK based sources before I try the USA? My Spanish source cannot send one out at the moment.

No worries :) . You can add your location to your profile, btw.

In the UK, try Barry and Angela at Classic Ducati, http://www.classicducati.co.uk/. I can't see one listed on their web site but, these things being as common as they once were, that doesn't mean they haven't got one ...

Also Pietro at Moto di Morino, https://www.dimarino.co.uk/.

Trouble is, these things were once so common that no-one valued them. Until now ...

(Btw, the key that I gave you the Guzzino link to isn't the best. Try this one instead: http://guzzino.com/ignitionkey7.html)
