Ducati Falcon 50

Postby krupp13 » Tue Mar 13, 2012 2:49 am

I just acquired a Ducati Falcon 50. I am wondering if anyone out there has any information, detailed photos, manuals or spare parts/bikes for sale for this bike? I am trying to find spares if I need them. I am receiving the bike tomorrow from a fellow poster on this site and cannot wait. I will try to attach a photo. Thanks!

Krupp

No help here, but man that is one cool looking little bike. I think I have some mention of it in one of the books I have at home and will look later and let you know. Would be great to see it restored.

Does anyone know much about the rear shocks for my falcon? I am wondering if shocks from other models are the same. These seem to not have any rebound or shock to them. Can you rebuild them?

Thanks in advance?

Can anyone enlighten me on the differences between a Falcon 50 and a Sport 48? I need to locate decals for the toolboxes and if they are the same, I tend to lean that Sport 48 is a better look and sound.

Going by Ian Falloon's "Standard Catalog" the 1962 (the '63 had a single front down tube frame) was the same as the 48 Sport apart from have 18" rims rather than 19", a single seat & a kick start.

I believe I have located all the spares I need, but would always be open to another bike or parts if there are any out there.

Malcome at Syd's, Steve at Bevelheaven, Phil Anysley and others are helping immensely!

Thanks!
